Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Utilize working knowledge of a healthcare database platform, Caché ObjectScript and a major healthcare information system application for seamless systems operations.
- Apply experience in the .NET Framework to contribute to the development and enhancement of the system.
- Employ working knowledge of data extraction techniques and participate in report development to provide valuable insights.
- Leverage familiarity with Crystal Reports to generate comprehensive and informative reports.
- Possess working knowledge of Oracle Database and MS SQL Database, ensuring efficient data management and system functionality.
- Check Caché scripts related to reports to fix issues reported by users on custom reports, automated tasks, extraction reports and similar deliverables developed by the team.
- Log in to Windows Servers to install necessary applications, modify registry keys and manage application services.
- Troubleshoot minor issues reported on custom development done in ASP.NET (VB, C#).
- Run queries in SQL Server and Oracle databases to extract and update data.
- Create and modify Crystal Reports.
- Address application-related issues and enhancements raised or requested by end-user departments, by either providing workarounds or coordinating with the concerned parties (other ICT teams) to fulfill or resolve the requirement or issue. This includes effective communication, providing remote access and managing changes (patches, updates or new implementations) as the application focal point.
