Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Science or Material Engineering
Requirements
- Minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience as a Materials & Corrosion Lead, with deep technical expertise in materials, corrosion, and asset integrity engineering within the oil and gas industry.
- Extensive experience across all offshore project phases, specifically leading FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) and mega-scale EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects.
- Hands-on exposure to fabrication, manufacturing, construction, and supervisory or managerial experience (minimum 1 year).
- Proven record leading at least 2 major offshore EPC and FEED projects from concept select phase to commissioning.
- Demonstrated track record in authoring, developing, and improving comprehensive engineering specifications and project requirements for the Materials discipline (including material selection, raw materials, welding, manufacturing, inspection, fabrication, coatings, corrosion management, and risk-based inspection).
- Comprehensive working knowledge of international codes, shareholder standards, and regulatory frameworks governing materials and corrosion engineering in the oil and gas sector.
- Strong understanding of project execution and delivery workflows with experience in technical leadership roles, process development, and implementation.

- Demonstrated experience in auditing, assessment, and review of manufacturing, fabrication, and projects.
- Membership in an international institution specializing in material science topics.
- Formal courses in ISO9001/API Q1/AQPI Q2 Quality Management Systems, ASNT Non-Destructive Testing, Pipeline, topsides or downstream equipment material design, NACE Corrosion Engineering, Quality System Documentation, and Continual Improvement Processes.
