Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer
Working Location: Doha, Qatar
Contract Type: Contract Position
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Electrical Engineering tasks including Detailed Design and Front End Engineering Design (FEED) for oil and gas onshore and offshore projects.
- Work on brown field and asset services type projects and contracts.
- System design up to 33kV.
- Develop and review Single Line Diagrams, Metering and Protection Diagrams.
- Prepare Specifications, Data Sheets, Material Requisitions (MR), Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE), and Vendor Drawing/Document Reviews.
- Develop layouts and perform sizing calculations.
- Prepare lists and schedules such as Cable Schedules and Distribution Board (DB) Schedules.
- Conduct Power System Studies.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports.
- Make site visits for data collection activities.
- Take on lead electrical engineer responsibilities for small size projects.
- Experience in Feasibility Study (FS), Concept Options (CO), Pre-FEED, FEED, and Detailed Engineering Design.
Requirements:
- Full-Time Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
- Demonstrated experience in similar roles within the oil and gas industry, specifically onshore & offshore projects.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills.
- Willingness to visit project sites as needed.
