Key Responsibilities:
Job Purpose
Oversee the planning, preparation, and execution of all aspects of the Compression Platform Structural Fabrication requirements of the project from yard activities to load out, ensuring all key objectives are achieved or exceeded. Ensure the constructability of the design is consistent with established Project Engineering drawings and industry processes and standards. Effectively manage issues and resolution through strong interfaces with both company and contractor teams, delivering full alignment of the Fabrication execution.

Job Context & Major Challenge(s)
- Directly involved with the development of fabrication plans and execution, overseeing onshore fabrication scope, responsibilities and duties safely, efficiently, and effectively.
- Ensure sufficient and balanced resources and technical expertise are available to support stakeholders, especially for LQ Topsides fabrication activities, while respecting planning.
- Major challenge includes maintaining strong interfaces between Company and Contractor teams to ensure alignment and issue resolution.
Key Job Accountabilities
1. Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and regulations during the fabrication process.
2. Manage and ensure successful execution of LQ Topsides structures fabrication project components to meet prioritized objectives (Safety, Quality, Schedule, etc.).
3. Supervise and control the activities of the Contractor/Subcontractors related to the Structure fabrication, Mechanical Completion to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, project documentation, and applicable International Standards.
4. Check constructability aspects, as well as compliance to all technical requirements, of the deliverables provided by the Engineering Team Contractor.
5. Review deviations to construction standards for comments with Contractors/Subcontractors input to deliver a consistent dossier (documents, materials, activities).
6. Identify any areas of concern with respect to progress and/or quality and recommend corrective actions as required.
7. Liaise with Contractors/Subcontractors for all structure subjects, MC, Pre-commissioning, and Commissioning to ensure progress follow-up and reporting.
8. Participate in Risk Assessments, kick-off meetings, Pre-Job Meetings, technical meetings, etc., as required in accordance with the referential.
9. Participate in REX and Lessons Learned for the Company.
Requirements:
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Sciences or Engineering
Knowledge and/or Experience
- 8 years specific involvement in project execution, with previous leading roles in structural Fabrication within an EPC contract execution environment in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel. Additional relevant work experience may be substituted for technical education.
- Good knowledge of Project Execution procedures and field management and techniques including fabrication, welding, lifting, mechanical testing and completions.
Technical and Business Skills
- Experience with Oil and Gas companies, contractors, service companies, or heavy construction companies.
- Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria related to major fabrication, transport, installation, brownfield execution, and hook-up, as applicable to the project scope.
- Knowledge of offshore facilities and structures, onshore facilities, or yard operations as applicable to a project scope.
- Knowledge of execution methods and risks associated with sour gas and LNG production facilities.
- Experience working in large scale operating organizations in Operations, Projects, Subsurface, etc.
