Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer - Senior PSCAD

Working Location:
Fully Remote - Candidate must be based in UK or Denmark

Key Responsibilities:
- Support offshore wind farm projects by delivering high-quality power system studies in PowerFactory and PSCAD.
- Create and validate EMT and RMS models for relevant assets (e.g., WTG, PPC, STATCOM, as applicable).
- Plan and execute design and Grid Code compliance studies, including small disturbances and fault scenarios.
- Draft clear, audit-ready technical documentation for internal review and external compliance; contribute to grid-connection workstreams.
- Interface with OEMs on model provisioning, validation, and parameterization.
- Summarize findings, recommend mitigations, and ensure quality in line with established standards across multiple projects.

Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical/Power Systems Engineering (BEng/MSc/PhD) or equivalent.
- At least 5 years' hands-on experience with PSCAD for EMT studies, including applicable add-ons and analysis modules, plus required experience with DIgSILENT PowerFactory covering steady-state and RMS analyses.
- Experience working with vendor models and parameterization for compliance.
- Scripting/automation skills for workflows and post-processing.
- Experience coordinating with OEMs for model delivery, validation, and updates and strong data confidentiality practices.
- Strong communication skills; able to produce clear reports and stakeholder materials.
- Ability to work independently while following established methodologies, documentation standards, and QA processes.

Contract Type:
- Initial 6 month assignment with possibility of extension
- Contract basis, billed per hour or per day

Work Schedule:
- No travel required; the role is fully remote.
- Flexible allocation subject to project demands and priorities.
