Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our Clients IT's department Asset Analytics Distribution.
Duties are:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure and Databricks.
- Ingest, transform, and model data from diverse sources to enable reliable analytics and reporting.
- Develop semantic models and create Power BI reports to support data-driven decision making.
- Perform data quality checks, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Document and communicate data engineering processes and outcomes.
- Support data awareness and training initiatives within the organization.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective data solutions.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience as Data engineer
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Databricks, SQL, Python and (including CICD)
- Experience with data ingestion, transformation, and semantic modelling
- Hands-on experience and confident working with large data volumes is a plus (tables holding trillion of rows)
- Knowledge of data warehousing, data modelling, and ETL concepts
- Familiarity with Power BI
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, and Azure Storage Explorer
- Excellent communication skills Swedish and English
