Quality Lead (Performance)
Location: Doha, Qatar
Contract Duration: 36 months
Work Schedule: 8–10 hours per day, 6 days per week, 26 days per month
Rotation: 12 weeks on / 2 weeks off

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sciences or Engineering
  • ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification

Experience

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in Quality within the Oil & Gas industry
  • At least 1 year in a supervisory role, including acting responsibilities or oversight of contractors / vendors / service personnel
  • Experience working with Oil & Gas operators, EPC contractors, or service providers in large-scale operating environments
  • Strong understanding of operations, projects, and quality systems in major industrial organisations

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems in line with ISO 9001 and industry standards
  • Prepare and maintain Quality Plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and related quality documentation
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee quality control activities across operations, projects, and contractor execution
  • Apply Quality Analysis tools and methodologies, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Analysis
  • Manage inspection and testing activities (destructive and non-destructive) and interpret results
  • Monitor contractor/vendor performance and ensure adherence to quality requirements
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and performance enhancement programmes
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and quality assessments as required

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and ISO standards
  • Familiarity with industry specifications, regulations, and QA/QC tools
  • Experience in documentation of quality procedures, inspection reports, and compliance records
  • Proficiency in quality analysis tools and problem-solving methodologies
