Overview

A major international energy operator is seeking an Operations Excellence Coordinator to support a large-scale offshore energy development project. The role focuses on aligning operations documentation, contractor deliverables, and internal operational systems to ensure a fully integrated and auditable operations readiness and start-up phase.

This is a transversal coordination role acting as a facilitator across multiple stakeholders, ensuring operational consistency, readiness, and excellence across complex project interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Excellence and System Implementation

  • Identify and structure key interface procedures across internal entities and external contractors
  • Ensure alignment between company operational requirements and contractor management systems
  • Support implementation of the Field Operations Management System across project entities
  • Ensure procedures, RACI matrices, KPIs, and reporting structures are consistent and operationally applicable
  • Drive operational excellence through standardisation and governance alignment

Operations Documentation Coordination

  • Define and manage the integrated operations and maintenance documentation roadmap
  • Track and prioritise delivery of a large volume of contractor documentation
  • Facilitate workshops to resolve technical comments and align operational expectations
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and report deviations to governance stakeholders

Operations Readiness Integration

  • Develop and maintain cross-reference matrices between contractor documentation and company operational standards
  • Identify gaps, overlaps, and critical deliverables
  • Coordinate with internal discipline owners to ensure missing deliverables are defined, assigned, and delivered
  • Organise alignment workshops and track closure of actions

Tools and Systems Enablement

  • Support development of digital tools and repositories for operational readiness information
  • Maintain dashboards, KPIs, governance tools, and operational reference materials
  • Improve accessibility and usability of operations systems and documentation

Context

This role supports a major offshore energy development project involving subsea systems, FPSO operations, and reservoir development. The focus is on optimising production, reducing emissions, maintaining high safety standards, and ensuring strong technical and operational performance throughout execution and start-up.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Operations Readiness, Operations Excellence, or Operations Management Systems within a large energy organisation
  • Strong experience in complex industrial or offshore energy projects
  • Excellent understanding of company and contractor interface management
  • Strong coordination, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to structure and manage complex documentation systems
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Pragmatic, solution-focused mindset with strong operational focus
  • Comfortable working in transversal, non-hierarchical environments
  • Fluent in English
