Principal Structural Engineer
Working Location
Site-based role across Saudi Arabia, associated with a major gold mining project. This is a rotational position with an 8 weeks on, 2 weeks off cycle.
Contract Type
Minimum one-year contract with possible extension.
Work Schedule
- Work rotation: 8 weeks on, 2 weeks off
- Base working hours: 48 hours per week, 6 days per week (in accordance with Saudi Labour Law)

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead structural engineering activities for a large-scale mining project
- Ensure structural designs meet industry and client standards
- Provide site-based engineering support, including supervision of works
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams on technical project requirements
- Adhere to all safety and site regulations
- Report regularly on project progress and any technical challenges
Requirements
- Total of 15 years professional engineering experience
- Minimum 8 years' experience in a similar capacity, specifically for mining projects
- Strong site engineering experience is essential
- Previous experience working in Saudi Arabia is highly desirable
- Ability to travel internationally as needed
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
