Job Purpose
Develop and implement comprehensive pipeline pigging programs across all assets to achieve company objectives regarding pipeline integrity and reliability, while ensuring optimized budgeting and minimal disruption to core business activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the implementation of pipeline pigging programs, ensuring each is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with company policies and procedures.
- Analyse pigging programs to identify opportunities for procedural or tool improvement, planning optimization, and enhanced execution.
- Document campaign planning, execution, lessons learned, and contractor interfaces, including work with remote techno plug installations for pipeline isolations (e.g., cleaning/bi-directional, calliper).
- Conduct initial review and assessment of ILI pigging report/results and manage follow-up with contractors until the final report is delivered.
- Verify the Pipeline Corrosion Monitoring program, including monthly fluid analysis (CI residuals, chlorides, TSS, iron content, etc.), data collection, analysis, reporting, and follow-up.
- Advise technical and project teams on pipeline integrity and corrosion monitoring programs, delivering support to ongoing projects as needed.
- Develop proposals for continuous improvement of the Pipeline Integrity Management System, including evaluating technology enhancements, driving workflow efficiencies, and optimizing costs for high performance.
- Maintain and update pigging program historical data, cataloguing, and communicating pigging reports to all relevant parties.
- Prepare the pigging budget and manage invoicing for all pigging activities, logging costs by asset.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Experience:
- 8 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, specifically in Operations or Maintenance.
- At least 5 years of offshore experience with advanced expertise in Pipeline Operations, including pigging operations.
