Information Management Specialist (Compliance)

Location: Doha, Qatar (Onshore)

Contract Duration: 36 months (extendable)

Start Date: June 2026

Work Schedule: 8-10 hours per day, 6 days per week, 26 days per month

Rotation:

  • Single status: 12 weeks on / 2 weeks off
  • Married status: Residential

Role Overview

Specialist role responsible for leading Information Management compliance activities within a major project environment. Ensures full adherence to corporate policies, document control standards, and information governance frameworks across all project documentation and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure Information Management activities comply with QELNG policies, procedures, and governance requirements
  • Develop, implement, and maintain document control systems, procedures, and workflows
  • Manage document registers, correspondence control, and technical/non-technical documentation systems
  • Oversee electronic filing systems and ensure data integrity and accessibility
  • Monitor compliance of Information Management processes against contractual and organisational requirements
  • Identify gaps in IM systems, procedures, and controls and ensure timely resolution
  • Maintain classification systems, document retention schedules, and audit compliance requirements
  • Support integration of project information policies across departments and contractors
  • Prepare periodic management reports on documentation status and progress
  • Support compilation, tracking, and control of project correspondence registers
  • Provide advisory support to project teams on technical documentation and information governance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Applied Science, Engineering, IT, Business, English, or related discipline

Experience

  • Minimum 8 years' experience in Information Management or Document Control roles
  • Strong experience with information governance systems in large-scale project environments
  • Familiarity with EPC contractor environments and project documentation workflows

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of document control systems and information management processes
  • Experience with SharePoint administration and document management systems
  • Knowledge of Power BI or dashboard reporting tools (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of records management, classification systems, and retention policies
  • Experience managing electronic and hardcopy document control systems
