The opportunity

The organisation is interested in meeting individuals who offer a particularly strong combination of renewable-energy M&A experience, commercial judgement and international transaction exposure.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the sale of renewable-energy projects, both individually and as part of larger portfolios.
  • Manage transactions across solar PV, battery energy storage and related energy-transition assets.
  • Coordinate financial, commercial, legal and technical workstreams throughout the transaction process.
  • Prepare transaction materials and support asset valuation, due diligence and negotiation.
  • Engage with investors, infrastructure funds, utilities, developers and strategic partners.
  • Support the structuring of partnerships and joint ventures.
  • Work closely with senior management and internal development, finance and legal teams.
  • Contribute to future transactions involving emerging low-carbon technologies and new business areas.

Candidate profile

  • Approximately 7–10 years of relevant M&A, investment, corporate-finance or transaction experience.
  • Strong track record within renewable energy, infrastructure or the wider energy-transition sector.
  • Direct experience executing project or portfolio transactions.
  • Good understanding of solar PV and battery energy storage.
  • International transaction experience across multiple markets.
  • Strong financial, commercial, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Comfortable managing transactions from initial evaluation through to completion.
  • Able to operate independently while working closely with senior leadership.
  • Based in Spain or able to work there on a regular basis.
  • Professional fluency in English; additional European languages would be advantageous.
