SCOPE OF WORK
Plans, shapes and delivers strategic multi-disciplinary communication activities for
Total Upstream in Denmark based on emerging opportunities and execution of
planned activities.
Drives communications & stakeholder engagement plans reflecting key business
priorities and the annual Communications & CSR planning cycle.
Advices leaders and other stakeholders on value-adding communication plans and
solutions in the space of leadership and internal communication, media relations,
crisis & issues management, branding, sponsorships, Societal & CSR and digital
platforms.
Creates the content of the communication project (writes copy, messages, speeches,
info screens) and supports the series of internal & external events.
Works with agencies and external providers to leverage PR and visual
communication.
Develops and delivers communication plans, activities and compelling stories
supporting awareness and understanding of the strategic direction and priorities of
the Danish North Sea business.
Acts proactively as communications partner interfacing with leaders, functions and
teams across the business on their communication needs.
Develops impactful messaging and content for various communication channels
(articles, press releases, presentations, videos, speeches, briefing packs, intranet,
email etc.), aligned with DK Narrative Supports PR, media engagements and industry
conference participation
Supports local branding and sponsorship opportunities.
Shapes and runs event and campaigns at a high standard liaising proactively with
relevant stakeholders.
Main driver of change communication efforts for selected cross-company projects.
Supports the activation and implementation of CSR programmes and activities in
Denmark.
Is a safety leader by considering safety in all aspects of the communication work.
Helps ensure communication is shared effectively across Copenhagen and Esbjerg.
BACKGROUND/QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE
Experienced communications professional ideally with a Comms / Marketing /
Journalism / Business degree
Holds a relevant degree in communications from a business school or from a school
of media and journalism
Has worked in an international organization with multiple stakeholders and preferably
in the energy sector
Has 7-10 years of experience working with reputation and stakeholder
communication, including leadership and
internal communication, PR & media relations, brand management and crisis
communication
Knows how to advise senior management on topics related to stakeholder
communication
Interacts professionally and proactively with all types of stakeholders and have the
ability to develop and maintain
effective networks
Is open to continuous learning, feedback and challenges and recognized as a
valuable team player
Is an effective planner with good analytical skills
Has strong written and verbal communication skills in English
