Job Title: Director – Project Finance & Investments
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Reporting To: Chief Strategy and Growth Officer
Overview
We are seeking a senior finance leader to drive the structuring and execution of project financing and investment strategies across major development initiatives. This role will partner closely with Business Development, Strategy, and M&A teams to deliver high-value transactions, support international expansion, and provide strategic financial leadership across complex, capital-intensive projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Structure, negotiate, and execute comprehensive project financing solutions
- Evaluate and deliver equity investments in large-scale infrastructure and energy projects
- Lead financial aspects of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships
- Develop robust financial models, valuations, and risk assessments to support investment decisions
- Design and implement credit insurance and risk mitigation strategies
- Provide strategic financial advisory to support business development and growth initiatives
- Prepare high-quality investment papers, financial reports, and presentations for senior stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategy with corporate objectives
- Support expansion into international markets, including emerging economies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline
- MBA or Master’s degree in Economics or Finance is preferred
Experience & Skills
- 12–15+ years of experience in project finance, investments, or structured finance
- Sector experience within energy, infrastructure, construction, or industrial projects
- Strong exposure to international markets, particularly in Asia and Africa
- Advanced financial modelling, valuation, and analytical capabilities
- Strong negotiation and deal structuring experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate effectively in complex, fast-paced, and multicultural environments
