Senior Test Automation Engineer

You will be at the forefront of modernizing our QA strategy-analyzing automation scope and building intelligent testing suites from scratch that leverage machine learning to enhance efficiency and maintainability within our established frameworks.
About the Team
You'll be part of a dynamic technology and QA group where, together with your team of highly technically skilled colleagues, you will implement efficient QA processes under continued improvement. You'll work transparently with your delivery lead, delivery manager, application architect, and product manager to ensure common awareness across team projects about the QA and automation activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategizing and evolving software testing approach from traditional waterfall to in-sprint agile testing
- Working closely with developers and engineers to maintain quality builds and perform necessary types of testing for each release
- Increasing test coverage, reducing the number of manual test cases, and increasing automation testing
- Delivering a new approach to releases by embedding automation in the software release process
- Setting up environment and deployment for system and integration testing used by multiple teams, and developing pipeline standards for deployment to new projects
- Ensuring the integrity of financial calculations and the stability of engineering tools
Requirements
- Experience as a manual and automation test engineer with hands-on experience in automating all stages of the software development lifecycle
- Experience creating automation test scripts for web and API using frameworks and tools such as Playwright, Specflow, Postman, JMeter, JUnit, NUnit
- Knowledge of tools enabling CI/CD, such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and Git
- Preferably scripting experience using Python, pytest-bdd, and pandas dataframe
- Ability to understand complex applications, including testing with a deep understanding of product domain and engineering knowledge
- Ability to apply business context to automation strategies, ensuring validation logic aligns with industry-specific requirements is a plus
