Key Responsibilities
- Provide backfill support to an existing team, focusing on SAP Security and Authorization for ongoing access management, role design, authorization troubleshooting, and security-related delivery activities.
- Maintain and enhance SAP authorization concepts across relevant SAP landscapes, ensuring secure and compliant access to support business continuity and project delivery.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, solution architects, compliance, and technical delivery teams to ensure robust, scalable, and standards-aligned authorization solutions.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on SAP Security and Authorization experience.
- Expertise in SAP role design, authorization objects, user administration, access provisioning, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with SAP authorization concepts across platforms such as SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, SAP BW, SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BTP, or related SAP cloud solutions.
- Understanding of segregation of duties, access control, audit requirements, and compliance-related security processes.
- Ability to analyse business access needs, translate them into secure authorization designs, and support testing, defect resolution, and documentation.
- Ideally, architect-level experience defining SAP security architecture, authorization frameworks, governance models, or access design across complex SAP landscapes.
- Strong communication skills with a collaborative approach to work in cross-functional teams.

Description of the Project
The consultant is required to backfill an existing team member, ensuring uninterrupted SAP Security and Authorization activities. This will help maintain secure and compliant access management while supporting ongoing operational, project, and enhancement work. The consultant brings specialist expertise and additional capacity for authorization design, role maintenance, troubleshooting, governance support, audit readiness, and stakeholder engagement, reducing delivery and compliance risks during the backfill period.
