Job Description

Support drilling assets within the Drilling and Wells department and supervise offshore operations performed on wells. Accountable as Drilling & Completion Senior Supervisor within the Drilling Chain of Command, particularly regarding technological major risks such as blowouts. Act as the company's offshore representative and lead communication with the onshore operational team.

Key Responsibilities

• Review drilling and completion programs prepared onshore and implement them onsite through rig standing instructions and supervision.
• Ensure well control procedures and bridging documents are enforced and respected on the rig.
• Oversee operations in accordance with company rules and HSE requirements.
• Personally supervise delicate or risky operations and communicate with the chain of command as part of daily routine and in emergencies.
• Coordinate logistics with the operational team to ensure continuous and optimized operations.
• Optimize rig equipment and processes in cooperation with contractors and the operational office team.
• Promote best working practices to ensure safe conditions, prevent major accidents, protect assets, minimize non-productive time, and enhance performance.
• Review daily reports and liaise with logistics to ensure equipment readiness.
• Participate in lessons learned and performance optimization processes.
• Lead the offshore team, manage and motivate personnel, and mentor junior supervisors when present onboard.
• Ensure company and contractor HSE standards are fully respected and known by all personnel.
• Participate in safety awareness and initiatives, supervise incident and anomaly reporting, and act as on-scene commander during emergency response.

Requirements

• Technician or engineering profile (Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent).
• More than 5 years of experience in an operational drilling environment, including experience as a Drilling Completion Senior Supervisor.
• Strong knowledge of offshore and specifically deepwater environments.
• Familiarity with industry referential, processes, and methods.
