Logistics Coordinator

Location: Qatar (Onshore - Ras Laffan / Doha)
Contract Type: 36 months initial contract, with possibility to extend
Project: Major Oil & Gas Project

Job Purpose

The Logistics Coordinator will provide administrative, logistics, and facilities coordination support for a major oil & gas project. The role supports on-site project activities, ensuring effective mobilization, office/facilities management, and coordination between project teams, contractors, service providers, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical, administrative, and coordination support related to project offices and temporary support facilities.
  • Coordinate administrative and operational requirements with relevant authorities, facility operators, contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Support mobilization planning for office-based and site personnel, including office allocation, access/pass requirements, and timely site coverage.
  • Manage day-to-day office operations, procedures, records, supplies, equipment, and inventory.
  • Ensure project offices and facilities are organized, adequately stocked, and properly maintained.
  • Coordinate office maintenance, repairs, and other facility-related services with building management and service providers.
  • Monitor workplace health, safety, and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure meeting rooms and common areas are appropriately maintained.
  • Coordinate vendors and service providers and monitor their performance and contractual compliance.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee requests relating to offices and facilities.

This position requires working in a dynamic project environment with tight deadlines and multiple priorities. The successful candidate should be comfortable resolving operational issues, coordinating office mobilization and services, and working across multiple project/site locations.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Commercial, Marketing, Sciences, Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Law, Communications, Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a relevant business-related function or discipline.
  • At least 4 years of experience within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Strong, demonstrable administrative experience.
  • Knowledge of project execution is an advantage.
  • International experience, particularly within Qatar or the Middle East, is preferred.
  • Previous experience supporting large-scale projects and major industrial/site environments is highly desirable.
  • A valid driving license may be advantageous.

  • Ability to manage complex tasks and resolve day-to-day operational issues independently.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Strong organizational, planning, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and deliver services within required schedules and budgets.
  • Capable of working independently within established procedures while coordinating effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in a high-pressure project environment.
