Key Responsibilities
This role is focused on the execution phase of a large-scale plant construction project. As Project Manager, you will deliver assigned work packages from start to finish, coordinating across teams and contractors to ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality project completion. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of assigned work packages, owning scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, and construction activities across internal teams and external partners.
- Drive progress through structured planning and close collaboration with Project Controls.
- Manage and challenge contractors and suppliers to ensure performance and accountability.
- Identify risks early, drive mitigation actions, and escalate key issues when needed.
- Lead interface coordination across work packages to ensure aligned execution.
- Monitor progress and performance against project targets and milestones.
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across all phases of delivery.
- Adapt to other related tasks as required in a dynamic, collaborative company environment.
Requirements
We are seeking a proactive, collaborative Project Manager who thrives in a fast-growing and innovative environment. You should be comfortable challenging established approaches and supporting a culture of teamwork and trust.
- 10+ years of experience in project management within large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects.
- Relevant degree in engineering, project management, or a similar field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience managing EPC work packages within EPCM or similar delivery models.
- Strong understanding of cost control, scheduling, and risk management.
- Experience managing contractors and suppliers in complex project environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills, especially within matrix organizations.
- Structured problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Fluency in English; Swedish is a plus.
