Key Responsibilities
- Develop QHSSE strategy, governance, compliance frameworks, risk management approaches, performance analysis, and drive program improvement initiatives in major energy and pipeline operations.
- Lead the completion of a 3-year QHSSE strategy and roadmap within specified timelines.
- Deliver improvements to governance frameworks, including policies, standards, and organizational structures.
- Enhance benchmark scores through effective implementation of audit recommendations and external assessments.
- Reduce the number of compliance gaps by implementing robust control measures.
- Oversee the refresh of the enterprise QHSSE risk register and ensure alignment of mitigation plans.
- Provide high-quality and timely risk analysis, dashboard reporting, and updates to leadership.
- Draft high-level policies, procedures, and governance documents for leadership approval.
- Develop and monitor the execution of risk mitigation plans with relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
- 12 - 15+ years of experience in QHSSE roles within the oil & gas, energy, or pipeline sectors.
- Proven track record in strategy development, risk management, and governance.
- Strong skills in analytics, performance management, and executive advisory support.
- Significant exposure to delivering QHSSE frameworks, compliance initiatives, and improvement programs.
