Overall Rigging Coordinator

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all tools, lifting tackles, and equipment used at the site are inspected and have valid calibration/test certificates. The validity of calibration should not be less than 6 months from the mobilization date, as per 'Ready to Use' certificate.
- Maintain availability of certifications and test documents at the site for inspection by competent authorities at any point in time.
- Supervise crane marching and heavy mobile equipment movement, ensuring that a rigger is present at both the front and the rear to prevent accidents.
- Coordinate with the logistics coordinator for new rigging requirements and for any additional certification or calibration needed, as required by the latest regulations.
- Promote and ensure safe rigging practices aligned with national and international best practices.
Requirements
- Qualification: Minimum required certification in rigging as per applicable regulations.
- Experience: At least 15 years of overall experience, with a minimum of 10 years specifically in rigging activities within petrochemical or oil and gas plant environments.
- Competency: Demonstrated expertise and competency in rigging activities.
- Certification: Must be qualified/certified under relevant regulatory requirements and approved by the governing safety and technical authority.
- Language: Fully fluent in English.
