Key Responsibilities
- Overall management of Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) issues and waste management.
- Act as the key liaison for all related activities with relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international rules, regulations, and guidelines governing environmental protection and safety.
- Promote environment and safety awareness among all contractor staff.
- Coordinate with the client for all HSSE-related training requirements for staff.
- Liaise with the client's HSSE department for all safety and environmental matters.
- Make sure all activities are conducted in accordance with the Safety and Environmental procedures and guidelines defined by the client.
- Ensure all waste handling operations are carried out within appropriate durations and in strict compliance with environmental and waste handling guidelines.
- Serve as the single point of contact for any environment-related matters at the site.
- Maintain a site presence at all times to respond promptly to HSSE issues.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering.
- At least 15 years of overall experience as a HSSE professional.
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in the management of HSSE for Turnarounds (TA) in the Oil and Gas industry.
- At least 12 years' experience in HSSE roles, with 8 years in managing HSSE for Turnarounds.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Provision of a CV for review is mandatory.
- Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed and approved by client's HSSE department.
- Contractor to submit CVs for two equally qualified candidates; the client will make the final selection.
