Overview
Prepare Primavera schedule according to project scope and shutdown window. Support the planning manager in scheduling-related activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a Level 4 schedule using Primavera that contains the relevant information, breaking down work into logical activities.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of static equipment such as columns, exchangers, vessels, control valves, level gauges, etc.
- Possess expertise in piping and structural fabrication, scaffolding, insulation, and painting, including defining sequences of activities independently.
- Apply good understanding of productivity norms.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of various process equipment.
- Independently study the scope and develop the TA schedule.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly look-ahead plans with varying levels of detail for the TA.
- Prepare recovery plans and Time Impact Analysis (TIA).
- Develop reporting templates and integrate consolidated data in a systematic manner.
Requirements
- Education: Engineering Degree in Mechanical
- Experience: Minimum 8 years in planning/scheduling within the oil and gas industry
- Experience as scheduler for at least 6 major shutdowns/TA projects
- Handled a minimum of 4 major TA projects as scheduler
Specific Skills and Knowledge
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Primavera (Primavera-6)
- Proficient with MS Office applications
- Ability to manage and analyze large volumes of quantitative data using databases and spreadsheets
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Capable of presenting data systematically
- Strong skills in contractual correspondence
