Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- Strong leadership and team management capability; ability to work under high-pressure environments with demanding deadlines and operational constraints
- 15+ years of experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, or LNG maintenance/shutdown environments
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a management role within large turnaround/shutdown
- Proven experience leading and managing all turnaround field execution activities across mechanical, piping, static equipment, rotating equipment, electrical, instrumentation, civil, and inspection disciplines
- Ability to identify resource requirements and allocate resources job-wise (manpower, tools, cranes, scaffolding, consumables, and materials)
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute all turnaround activities to a high standard
- Coordinate daily execution plans with operations, planning, maintenance, inspection, engineering, and contractor teams
- Conduct daily progress meetings, coordination meetings, and management reporting
- Provide strong HSE leadership and demonstrate high risk management awareness
- Participate in safety audits, toolbox talks, incident investigations, and field safety inspections
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure implementation of safe work practices
- Manage multiple priorities within tight turnaround schedules
- Monitor turnaround progress and drive recovery actions to minimize schedule delays and cost impacts
