MP RUYA Field Operations Lead

Working Location: Qingdao, China

Key Responsibilities

  • Guarantee the implementation of a quality policy ensuring the operability, maintainability, reliability, and safety of new production facilities.
  • Ensure integration of new equipment or facilities into the field.
  • Cover all production-related topics within projects, including process and flow assurance studies as required.
  • Work transversely with Project Teams and Field Operations Team, providing recommendations based on operational knowledge and experience.
  • Ensure HSE is given the highest priority and support/enforce the Project HSEQ management system.
  • Promote HSEQ awareness at all levels through proactive actions such as site tours and meetings within the Project team and Contractors.
  • Monitor work activities, especially potential areas where unsafe acts could occur, ensuring risks are properly identified and assessed prior to work execution.
  • Support updates of Operating Philosophies, Manuals, and Procedures for facilities delivered by Major Projects.
  • Participate in HAZOPs and Risk Assessments for installation and construction activities associated with projects.
  • Interact with Projects to anticipate production impact or associated risk assessment and implement proper mitigations to avoid production downtimes.
  • Interface with the Commissioning Manager and Site Commissioning Teams to facilitate Offshore Execution.
  • Participate in operability/maintainability studies and 3D model reviews.
  • Support contractor development of main Operating Procedures for Field Operations to ensure alignment with current practices and timely delivery.
  • Identify and develop training for Field Operations stakeholders as required for new facilities.
  • Represent Project Field Operations at FAT of main/critical equipment.
  • Ensure adequacy of project design basis with existing field bottlenecks or coherence with identified debottlenecking actions.
  • Lead/support site Operations Teams during installation and commissioning activities.
  • Contribute to the definition of the Handover philosophy.
  • Prepare adequate feedback (Return of Experience) at the end of each project.

Requirements

  • BSc in an Engineering discipline.
  • Operations profile with field experience and over 8 years of experience in Production Operations and Projects positions.
  • Familiarity with Production, Process, and Flow Assurance Engineering.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Computer literate.
  • Strong communication and transverse skills.
  • Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Available for frequent missions to vendor sites.
  • H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET training.
