About the Opportunity
A major offshore energy project is seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to support offshore and subsea logistics operations across complex oil and gas developments.
This role will coordinate marine logistics, offshore mobilization activities, vessel readiness, contractor interfaces and offshore execution support across multiple project phases. The successful candidate will work closely with project teams, marine contractors, offshore installation teams and operational stakeholders to ensure safe and efficient offshore logistics execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate offshore and subsea logistics activities for offshore oil and gas projects
- Support offshore mobilization, marine inspection and installation logistics planning
- Act as the focal point between project teams, contractors, marine operations and internal stakeholders
- Coordinate offshore logistics interfaces across engineering, construction and commissioning teams
- Review offshore logistics scope requirements during FEED, bid evaluation and project execution stages
- Support technical evaluation of marine vessels and offshore support spreads proposed by contractors
- Coordinate marine spread inspections, readiness reviews and mobilization activities
- Liaise with marine, HSE and project teams to ensure offshore vessels comply with project and regulatory requirements
- Monitor close-out of marine inspection punch items prior to offshore mobilization
- Organize and coordinate follow-up inspections and offshore readiness activities
- Support offshore survey coordination and marine operational planning
- Coordinate offshore logistics back-charge processes with project, cost and contract teams
- Ensure project leadership teams are updated on offshore execution and logistics issues
- Support communication and coordination between offshore installation contractors and project stakeholders
- Provide recommendations and solutions related to offshore logistics execution challenges
- Support offshore installation campaigns and vessel coordination activities
Requirements
- Bachelor degree, Higher National Diploma or Diploma in Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Additional certification in Nautical Science, Marine Logistics, Offshore Operations or Port Operations is advantageous
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in offshore capital project logistics coordination within the oil and gas industry
- Strong experience supporting offshore marine logistics and offshore installation activities
- Experience coordinating offshore contractors, marine spreads and vessel mobilization activities
- Knowledge of offshore marine inspection processes and logistics planning
- Experience supporting FEED, bid evaluation and offshore project execution activities
- Strong communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills
- Good analytical and IT skills with the ability to work under pressure
- Experience working with multinational and multicultural contractor teams
- Strong understanding of offshore HSE requirements and marine operational standards
