Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure comprehensive compliance in health, safety, environment, and quality within oil & gas, construction, and service works sectors.
  • Maintain proactive and reactive monitoring programs to meet legal and other requirements.
  • Prepare for external audits conducted by international auditors, Local Authorities, and clients.
  • Assist in the development, review, and regular updating of QHSE procedures.
  • Report implementation progress of QHSE programs and initiatives to the QHSE Manager.
  • Prepare, review, and participate in task-based risk assessments and COSHH assessments.
  • Develop and deliver internal QHSE training based on identified needs and training matrices.
  • Lead management QHSE meetings and participate in client meetings and QHSE management reviews.
  • Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to QHSE standards.
  • Lead or participate in incident investigations and subsequent reporting.
  • Develop and disseminate QHSE guidance, memos, lessons learned templates, and presentations.
  • Maintain and accurately report QHSE statistics for the region, including weekly and monthly figures.
  • Deliver QHSE guidance, awareness sessions, and training to improve workforce understanding.
  • Observe on-site activities, providing coaching to ensure staff are familiar with safe work procedures.
  • Engage the workforce in safety conversations to enhance hazard awareness and adoption of safe practices.
  • Collaborate with clients and external bodies during QHSE audits.

Requirements

  • Comprehensive experience in health, safety, environment, and quality within oil & gas, construction, and service works.
  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory QHSE requirements.
  • Experience preparing for and participating in audits.
  • Proven ability to develop, implement, and improve QHSE procedures and training programs.
  • Strong skills in risk assessment and incident investigation.
  • Excellent reporting, communication, and teamwork abilities.
