Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree: Electrical Engineering
Key Responsibilities and Experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Engineering roles, including at least 4 years in the Oil & Gas Industry.
- At least 1 year of supervisory or acting role, or oversight of contractor/subcontractors/service/vendor personnel.
- Experience in major LNG projects is preferred.
- Broad knowledge of engineering execution including design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, onshore LNG facilities and utility systems design, construction, and operations.
- Extensive expertise in Electrical equipment and systems, such as HV/MV/LV electrical systems design, transformers, switchgear, power management systems, electrical system controls for reactive and active power sharing, power distribution control, large motors (40MW+), and familiarity with manufacturing processes and relevant industry codes.
- Experience with high voltage and large-scale onshore power design requirements.
Technical and Business Skills
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
- Strong organizational, planning, and coordination abilities.
- Strong technical, prioritization, and management skills.
- Effective communication, influencing, and interface skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and related software programs.
