Head of Handover & Completion
Working Location
Onshore site office in Qatar
Job Purpose
Lead and govern the end-to-end Data and Reporting function for Handover and Completion, establishing a robust digital ecosystem that enables accurate, real-time, and insight-driven decision-making across the project lifecycle.
Accountable for data strategy, governance, analytics, visualization, and digital applications, ensuring seamless integration of completions databases, enterprise systems, and reporting platforms in alignment with company digital standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of the data strategy for Handover and Completion.
- Establish and maintain strong data governance across all project phases.
- Oversee enterprise reporting and analytics to enable real-time, insight-driven decision-making.
- Develop and manage dashboards and visualizations using modern reporting platforms.
- Ensure integration between completions systems, enterprise systems, and reporting platforms.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives within the project environment.
- Govern data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing activities.
- Lead system integrations and API-based architectures to ensure seamless data flow.
- Oversee the adoption and optimization of low-code platforms and automation tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Applied Sciences or Engineering.
Knowledge and Experience
- Ten (10) years experience in various project phases such as engineering, procurement, and construction within large-scale commissioning projects in the oil and gas industry.
- At least two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role, acting role, or oversight of service/vendor personnel.
- Experience with oil and gas companies, contractors, or service companies.
- Knowledge in project execution, engineering, operations, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and systems completion.
Proven Track Record In
- Data strategy and governance implementation.
- Enterprise reporting and analytics.
- Digital transformation initiatives in project environments.
Advanced Expertise In
- Enterprise dashboard development, governance, and deployment using modern BI tools.
- Data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
- SQL and large-scale database management.
Strong Experience With
- Completions management systems (or equivalent).
- Data lake and cloud-based architectures.
- Low-code platforms and automation tools.
- System integrations and API-based architectures.
