JOB TITLE: C&P CONTRACT & PROCUREMENT ENGINEER - CENTREMANCHE 2 PROJECT

WORKING LOCATION: Paris, France (Project-Based / Flexible)

CONTRACT TYPE: 12 Month Renewable Contract (Assignment Type: Contract)
START DATE: ASAP

Key Responsibilities

The Contract & Procurement Professional supports the Centre-Manche 2 project by ensuring robust procurement governance, compliance, and operational excellence across all contracting and purchasing activities.

The role is responsible for:
- Ensuring full compliance with the company's Code of Conduct, procurement governance, and regulatory requirements
- Supporting the definition and implementation of procurement strategy aligned with project and business unit objectives
- Acting as a key interface with relevant internal contract and procurement teams
- Promoting procurement best practices and knowledge sharing across project teams
- Ensuring all procurement decisions are validated in accordance with internal governance frameworks
- Managing procurement processes in systems (NetSuite) and maintaining complete, auditable records
- Providing contract compliance oversight, particularly for external studies and services (>€50k, technical scope)
- Supporting contract lifecycle management including commitments, invoicing, and dispute resolution
- Contributing to the development of procurement reporting tools and performance indicators

Activities:
- Contribute to the definition, drafting, and implementation of procurement procedures specific to the project
- Provide guidance and training to project stakeholders on procurement processes, risks, and best practices
- Ensure governance compliance and validation of procurement decisions
- Support purchase order creation and management within NetSuite
- Ensure proper documentation and archiving of procurement files for audit readiness
- Perform contract reviews to ensure compliance with corporate, administrative, and regulatory requirements
- Support contract execution and administration, including:
o Commitment tracking
o Intra-group recharge documentation
o Service acceptance processes
o Invoice verification and discrepancy resolution
- Manage and support resolution of contractual claims, discrepancies, and disputes
- Develop and propose procurement reporting tools, including relevant KPIs and dashboards
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and efficient procurement delivery

Requirements

Qualification Level Required:
- Master's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related discipline

Skills & Experience Required

Technical & Professional Skills:
- Strong expertise in procurement governance, procedures, and strategy
- Proven experience in contract preparation, tendering (CFT), negotiation, and administration
- Knowledge of project phases and experience in project-based contract engineering
- Familiarity with performance reporting tools and KPI development
- Basic understanding of claim management
- Experience working with complex stakeholder environments and transversal organizations
- Experience in Offshore Wind projects preferred
- EPC project experience with approximately 15 years in contract & procurement roles

Systems:
- Experience using ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite) for procurement transactions and reporting

Languages:
- English: Expert (required)
- French: Expert (required)
- Other languages: advantageous

- Ability to manage heavy workloads in fast-paced environments

Level of Experience Required:
- Minimum 10-15 years' experience in Contracts & Procurement roles within major projects (preferably energy / offshore wind / EPC environments)
