Job Title: Workshop Technician

Working Location: Gothenburg, Sweden

Contract Type: Initial 6 Month Assignment

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday

DESCRIPTION

This organisation offers the business sector safe, high-capacity, and sustainable transport services to hundreds of locations across Scandinavia, and, through partners, reaches a wide network across the rest of Europe. Their annual transport volumes amount to several billion net tonne-kilometres. The majority of their operations are carried out using electric locomotives, with electricity sourced exclusively from fossil-free energy. Each weekday, they move tens of millions of net tonne-kilometres, helping to significantly reduce the number of truck movements on the road network.

The organisation employs over a thousand people and generates multi-billion SEK annual revenues. Its customer base is primarily within core industrial sectors, where forestry, steel, and paper dominate, alongside substantial volumes from chemicals, energy, engineering, automotive, and retail. A growing segment is intermodal freight flows, particularly container and trailer transport. Major transport flows via Sweden's ports create strong demand for inland transport solutions, where this company holds a leading position.
