Study Pipelines Manager

Salary: £90,000 - £95,000 + Car Allowance

Key Responsibilities
- Lead route selection, corridor assessments, and GIS-based constraint analysis for onshore pipeline projects.
- Deliver feasibility, concept, optioneering, and FEED studies for pipelines in the energy transition sector, including hydrogen and CO₂ transport.
- Oversee mechanical design, constructability, and installation engineering activities.
- Steer geotechnical, geohazard, crossing, and landfall engineering work.
- Own project budgets, schedules, gross profit, and manage change processes.
- Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and technical tenders.
- Build and maintain client relationships, identifying follow-on business opportunities.
- Manage technical risk and champion digital and GIS-led project delivery.
Requirements
- Strong background in onshore pipeline engineering.
- Experience leading feasibility, concept, or FEED studies.
- Commercial awareness, including managing budgets, variations, and forecasting.
- Confident in managing clients and multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with proposal preparation and cost estimating.
- Knowledge of GIS and route selection is beneficial.
- Exposure to hydrogen or CO₂ pipeline projects is an advantage.
