Sr. Process Engineer (Aromatics)
Location: OmanContract Type: 1 Year (Extendable)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead feasibility studies, process optimization studies, energy optimization studies, FEED studies, and provide support to EPC projects.
- Conduct process optimization and energy optimization projects.
- Perform technical evaluations and prepare scope of work for chemical, catalyst, and study tenders.
- Cooperate on contract management, including vendor and OEM management, and coordinate with engineering, inspection, FATs & SATs support, RCM management, HAZOP, and other departments.
- Provide input into the assigned budget for the department and advise on potential budget overspend.
- Identify and execute opportunities to optimize operations within and across process units or equipment.
- Supervise and verify design work performed by internal and external engineering resources to achieve process optimization.
- Prepare data for heat and material balances, process flow diagrams, design minor plant modifications, and follow through to project completion.
Requirements
- Experience in Aromatic Units such as Aromizer Plant, Naphtha Hydrotreater, Morphylane Unit, XyMax Unit, Eluxyl plant, etc.
- Experience in feasibility studies, FEED studies, and EPC projects.
- Experience in process and energy optimization projects.
- Experience in technical evaluation and scope preparation for chemical and catalyst tenders.
