Senior Telecommunications Engineer
Role Overview:
The Senior Telecommunications Engineer will be responsible for the design and engineering of telecommunications and associated control systems for Oil & Gas projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements throughout the Pre-FEED, FEED, and Detailed Design stages.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited university.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in Telecommunications Design Engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proven experience working on both Onshore and Offshore projects.
- Strong background in engineering design, including Pre-FEED, FEED, and Detailed Design phases.
- Extensive experience with microprocessor-based systems and associated technologies, including SCADA, DCS, ESD, IPS, Fire & Gas Detection Systems, Fire Protection Systems, Metering Systems and WHCP
Preferred
- Previous experience with major engineering consultancies or EPC/EPCM contractors such as Worley and similar organizations.
- Demonstrated experience delivering engineering design solutions for Oil & Gas projects.
- Strong understanding of industry codes, standards, and engineering best practices.
Location: Qatar (Office-Based)
Contract Duration: 1 Year (Extendable)
Working Hours: 45 hours per week
