Overview
An international engineering organisation is seeking a Senior Engineer to support the development and delivery of complex heavy lifting and transportation solutions. This role focuses on providing high-quality engineering support across a range of industries and projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and innovative execution.
The Role
You will be responsible for developing engineering solutions, supporting project execution, and providing technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop engineering solutions for heavy lifting and transport projects
- Prepare method statements, drawings, calculations, and risk assessments
- Select and verify appropriate engineering methods and equipment
- Support project execution and adapt solutions to changing conditions
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams
- Advise operations, sales, and project teams on feasibility and risks
- Ensure all engineering documentation meets required standards and is properly maintained
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 4 years of relevant engineering experience
- Experience in sectors such as construction, renewables, oil and gas, offshore, ports, or mining
- Strong knowledge of engineering practices, heavy lifting equipment, and technical standards
- Ability to develop complex engineering solutions and calculations
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
