Senior Digital Solution Administration Specialist

About the Role
This senior technical position is responsible for the administration, management, and continuous improvement of critical digital solutions across the organisation. The successful candidate will ensure digital platforms and systems remain secure, reliable, available, and aligned with business requirements.
This role is ideal for an experienced Cloud Administrator, Systems Administrator, Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, IT Systems Engineer, or Digital Solutions Specialist with a strong hands-on technical background and proven experience managing enterprise digital environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the administration, management, and ongoing optimisation of digital solutions, ensuring high levels of performance, availability, reliability, and security.
- Manage the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of digital platforms, including cloud services, software applications, and integrated systems.
- Administer and support cloud environments across Microsoft Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud Platform.
- Monitor system performance and availability, proactively identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Troubleshoot complex system, application, and infrastructure issues and provide effective solutions to minimise operational disruption.
- Manage system configurations, upgrades, patches, and technical changes in accordance with established processes and security requirements.
- Support the implementation of new digital solutions and enhancements across the organisation.
- Lead and support digital solution upgrades, migrations, and system improvements while minimising operational impact.
- Work closely with IT, engineering, business, and other cross-functional teams to ensure digital solutions meet operational and business requirements.
- Maintain high standards of system security, compliance, and availability across managed environments.
- Provide advanced technical support and guidance to colleagues and junior team members.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of administration, monitoring, support, and operational procedures.
- Provide technical expertise and recommendations relating to digital platforms, cloud services, and system architecture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, IT, or a related technical discipline.
- 7+ years' experience in digital solution administration, IT systems management, cloud administration, infrastructure, or a related technical environment.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior, specialist, or lead-level position.
- Strong hands-on experience administering enterprise IT systems and digital solutions.
- Proven experience deploying, configuring, and managing solutions within Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong understanding of system administration, including servers, databases, applications, and cloud environments.
- Experience with system upgrades, migrations, patching, configuration management, and technical troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of IT security, system availability, and operational reliability.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues independently.
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional technical and business teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.

- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
- Other relevant cloud, infrastructure, or systems administration certifications
