Job Description

Activities

The Job holder participates to the process of Contracts and Procurement entity by performing the following tasks:

  • Work closely with the DUET to create the contracts dossier, develop a clear definition of contractual responsibilities and discuss the agenda including:

    • Development of Contracting Strategy and issue Call for Tenders to find suitable expertise to support the different functions

    • Negotiation and analysis of commercial bids

    • Development of Recommendations To Award (RTA)

    • Ensure that all insurance issues of TEPMA1 assets and personnel are dealt with

    • Manage his/her performance by monitoring KPIs Ensure the update of the contract management tool

    • Keep informed of best practices in contracts procedures in other entities for improvement of contracts practices in TEPMA1

    • Use existing frame agreements

The Job holder executes the following contracts activities

  • Prepare and maintain an up-to-date list of qualified contractors/suppliers/potential tenders/contracts with updated information in order to perform market studies; analyze and assess all possible answers from the market

  • Development of Contracting Strategy and issue Call for complex Tenders to find suitable expertise to support the different functions

  • Leading the presentation of RTA to the Contracts Committee or the appropriate DOA approver with a common recommendation with DUET

  • Establish the technical contracts and contractual agreements, directly participate to the most complex contracts

  • Conduct the commercial bid analysis and negotiation thereby creating a clear definition of responsibilities and documents together with the DUET

  • Take the leading role in Recommendation To Award (RTA) through Contracts Committee/DOA with common recommendation with DUET

  • Ensure the handover of contracts to the Partners' Entities and monitor contractor's performance with Duet

  • Assist C&P management in the settlement of claims and lawsuits, in relation with the Legal, Insurance, Finance and TEPMA1 Management by proposing strategies and actions and participating to the negotiations

  • Ensure monitoring on-going contracts status, participate in contract renewal and amendments discussions

Qualifications/Experience Required

Skills

  • Construction Services Contracts experience

  • Knowledge of TotalEnergies C&P procedures (CR-CP-xxx, GR-SSC, DOA matrix...)

  • Recommendation To Award (RTA) presentation to Contracts Committee / DOA

  • TotalEnergies C&P tools certification level (e.g. UNISOL, IMPACT, SMART...)

  • LNG technical/complex contracts

  • Contract drafting & review (T&Cs, SoW, pricing schedules)

  • Commercial bid analysis & negotiation

  • Claims & disputes settlement experience

  • Problem solving / planning / organising / coordinating

  • Contract handover & performance monitoring

  • management of contract portfolios of comparable value (700-900 MUSD/yr)

  • Advanced Negotiation skills

  • Cross-functional stakeholder management (DUET/LEGAL)

  • English Speaking (Fluent)

C&P Competencies

  • Advanced Contracts and Procurement Technical Competencies required

  • Basic or intermediate on other technical competencies

  • C&P tools advanced certification required

  • Good command of English language

Qualification and Background

  • Diploma: Master Degree

  • International Experience Required: Yes

  • Professional experience: 10-15 years (Minimum 2 years in technical contracts domain) with exposure on operations

  • Personal Abilities: Advanced Management, Advanced Human Relations, Problem Solving and Planning / organizing / coordinating / controlling. Excellent negotiation skills. Understanding of core operational activities and capability to handle different cross branch issues.

  • Mandatory capacity to train newly recruited C&P personnel with C&P Induction.
