Line Manager: Project Lead for Master Data Cleanup Project

Scope of Work

  • Support the Project Lead - Master Data in the execution of the master data cleaning program, ensuring accurate, complete and standardized Material Master data in SAP.
  • Act as a coordinator between the third party, technical teams, stock team and WIPRO team (central referential cell).
  • Process the MRF forms from the third-party, quality check for correct and/or missing information and have it validated by the technical teams (TADM´s or others - in line with the agreed DoA).
  • Prepare, check and submit Material Request Forms (MRFs) to the Centralized Master Data Cell / WIPRO, and follows up until implementation.
  • Clean up and standardize the manufacturer list: regroups materials sharing the same manufacturer references, adds manufacturers where the MNP field is correctly filled, and removes manufacturer names from descriptions where they do not belong.
  • Verify and correct technical material data together with the Technical Duets, completes missing long descriptions and removes special characters.
  • Review third-party (Todes, Terotech, Renotronic) deliverables per material, ensuring alignment with Company standards before data integration.
  • Act as coordinator and interface with the warehouse (physical box opening and inspection), MATCON and WIPRO for verification and validation of master data.
  • Follow up the backlog in case of pending technical clarifications and coordinate resolution (correct contact person, technical clarification, document search).
  • Participate in the weekly Procurement Factory / Master Data progress meetings and provide daily updates to the Project Lead - Master Data.
  • Report progress on the defined KPIs to the Project Lead - Master Data.
  • Follow-up on sale/scrap files after decision of technical teams - in line with stock reduction deliverables - to ensure correct approvals are in place and Partners approval is done prior to sale/scrap.
  • Support the implementation of the Procurement Factory by delivering qualitative and reliable Material Master data.
  • Act as a key interface between local warehouse and technical teams, centralized functions (WIPRO / Master Data Cell) and third-party providers.
  • Handle high volumes of data accurately and efficiently, while challenging inconsistent or incomplete information and seeking clarification from relevant technical experts.
  • Work in accordance with the project plan and priorities (driven by the material categories required by the Procurement Factory), but must also react quickly and professionally to data quality issues which may affect the project, stock optimization or operations.
  • Deliver accurate, complete and standardized Material Master data within the agreed scope, quality standards and timeline of the Master Data Cleaning Project.
  • Ensure consistency between SAP / UNISOL records and the physical materials in the warehouse.
  • Prepare and validate MRFs before transmission to the Centralized Master Data Cell / WIPRO, ensure documentation meets audit, finance and SAP governance requirements.
  • Maintain proper documentation and audit trail (before/after corrections, photos, inspection notes) for all data changes.
  • Keep the Project Lead - Master Data informed of progress, issues and risks on a regular basis.

Requirements

  • Relevant operational experience with a strong interest in technical components, materials and equipment.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in master data / material management, stock control or procurement support, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry or a comparable industrial environment.
  • Ability to understand technical descriptions of components, materials and equipment, and to discuss and challenge these details with technical experts.
  • Administrative expertise with the ability to handle a very high quantity of data efficiently and accurately, assuring the quality of the Material Master database.
  • Strong attention to detail, a structured working method and a quality-driven mindset.
  • Good communication skills in Danish combined with fluent English in both speech and writing.

Specific Tools

  • Expert user of SAP, particularly the Material Management Module (Material Masters, MRP, etc.).
  • Expert user in MS Excel; experience with Business Warehouse / Business Intelligence is an advantage.
