Scope of Work
Job Dimensions
- Responsible for multiple assets including DUC, Gorm E, Licence Area B - LUKE, Lulita, and Tyra West Pipeline Unit
- Management of four legal entities: TEPDK, TDASW, TDP, and TDASWP
- Cash calls and billing review
- Operated expenditure and year-end partner statements
- Liaison with JV partners and external auditors
- Day-to-day operations with TGSB
- Bank powers: payment authorization in designated bank accounts with double joint signature and no limited amount
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in monthly, quarterly, and yearly joint account closures, including accruals, repostings, allocations, depreciations, stock adjustments, and customer invoices
- Act as SOX Control Owner, responsible for performing, documenting, and evidencing all assigned SOX controls for compliance
- Perform balance sheet reviews for the joint account ledger
- Control and review cash calls and billing statements to partners
- Prepare year-end financial statements for partners and the joint venture tax representative
- Contribute to control tasks for the joint venture closing calendar to identify potential errors
- Implement corrective actions when necessary
- Apply group procedures and best practices in accounting tools
- Identify opportunities for SAP process improvements
- Provide ad hoc support to the TGSB team
- Test various areas in SAP and support the TGSB team with postings and queries
- Provide ad hoc support to other team members and the team leader
- Liaise between Business Finance and the SAP project team for Unisol
- Participate in external audits, financial audits, and cost recovery audits
Context and Environment
This role experiences high workloads during monthly account closings, especially in the last and first weeks of each month, during yearly closing activities, and in the event of special requests from management.
Accountabilities / Purpose
Support and control the execution and delivery of accounting activities for joint accounts, including preparing year-end financial statements for partners and the joint venture tax representative.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Accounting and Finance
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial standards
- Proactive mindset with willingness to learn, develop, and contribute to the team
- Experience with SAP and BW, including FI, CO, and JV modules
