About the Role
A leading green steel production company is constructing a new plant in Northern Sweden that will significantly reduce CO₂ emissions compared to conventional steel production.
You will join the Project Delivery team, reporting to Project Delivery leadership and working within the broader Project Delivery function. The team is responsible for delivering large-scale industrial projects, ensuring safe, high-quality execution across engineering, procurement, and construction.
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering assigned work packages from start to finish. You will coordinate across teams and contractors, ensuring that scope is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. As this is a growing company with very few silos between teams, your role may evolve and other tasks might be included over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of assigned work packages, owning scope, schedule, budget, and quality
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, and construction activities across internal teams and external partners
- Drive progress through structured planning and close collaboration with Project Controls
- Manage and challenge contractors and suppliers to ensure performance and accountability
- Identify risks early, drive mitigation actions, and escalate key issues when needed
- Lead interface coordination across work packages to ensure aligned execution
- Monitor progress and performance against project targets and milestones
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across all phases of delivery

Role-specific experience and skills:
- 10+ years of experience in project management within large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects
- Relevant degree in engineering, project management, or similar, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience managing EPC work packages within EPCM or similar delivery models
- Strong understanding of cost control, scheduling, and risk management
- Experience managing contractors and suppliers in complex project environments
- Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills in matrix organizations
- Structured problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Fluency in English; Swedish is a plus
