Job Description

A Lead Technical Safety & Environmental Engineer is required to support a 12-month phase of a large-scale gas plant project in the Middle East.

The work involves modifications to maintain and increase production capacity across multiple gas-oil separation plants, power generation facilities and well-injection infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of technical safety and environmental engineering activities throughout the project phase.
  • Coordinate and review safety studies, including HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, QRA and other risk assessments.
  • Ensure project designs comply with client requirements, applicable legislation and international safety standards.
  • Provide technical leadership to multidisciplinary teams and manage the timely delivery of safety and environmental documentation.

Requirements:

  • Significant technical safety and environmental engineering experience within oil and gas projects.
  • Proven experience working in a lead capacity.
  • Strong experience on early design phases and major projects.
  • Ability to coordinate technical safety deliverables across multidisciplinary teams.
