Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Platform Developer Expert

Role Objective
Design, develop, integrate, and operate intelligent business solutions within the Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Platform ecosystem. Build secure, scalable, and maintainable AI-supported automation solutions for internal enterprise business processes. Translate business requirements and process needs into robust technical solutions that deliver measurable user and operational value. Ensure governance, data protection, security, compliance, performance, and operational reliability throughout the solution lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and extend Microsoft Copilot Studio agents for internal business processes.
- Build Power Apps and Power Automate solutions to digitise and automate workflows.
- Integrate Copilot and Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Microsoft Graph, Dataverse, Azure services, and enterprise systems.
- Design Dataverse data models, business rules, relationships, and security roles.
- Provide technical guidance on architecture, platform boundaries, scalability, and make-or-buy decisions.
- Implement governance, security, application lifecycle management, and operational-support requirements.
- Create maintainable, documented, and reusable components, templates, and solution patterns.
Tasks
- Design Copilot Studio topics, conversation flows, triggers, actions, and agent logic.
- Connect knowledge sources including SharePoint, Dataverse, Microsoft Graph, and other business data sources.
- Develop generative-AI and retrieval-augmented-generation solution approaches where technically and functionally appropriate.
- Test and optimise agent response quality, user guidance, and business-process value.
- Develop Canvas Apps and Model-driven Apps using Power Apps and Power Fx.
- Create, maintain, and optimise complex Power Automate workflows.
- Build integrations through REST APIs, custom connectors, standard connectors, and Microsoft Graph.
- Connect Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, and Azure AI Services where required.
- Implement application lifecycle management using solutions, environments, pipelines, Git, and/or Azure DevOps.
- Monitor usage, performance, errors, and cost and support incident, change, and release processes.
Deliverables
- Production-ready Copilot Studio agents supporting agreed internal business processes.
- Secure Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, and Dataverse data models.
- Reliable integrations across Microsoft 365, Azure, and relevant enterprise systems.
- Reusable components, templates, and solution patterns.
- Implemented governance, security, compliance, and application-lifecycle controls.
- Tested releases, operational monitoring, and continuous solution improvements.

- Solution architectures, interface specifications, and data-flow documentation.

Decision Authority / Responsibility
- Recommend appropriate Copilot Studio, Power Platform, integration, and Azure solution approaches within the agreed architecture.
- Own assigned solutions from requirements analysis through development, testing, release, and production operation.
- Identify and escalate material security, privacy, compliance, performance, cost, and operational risks.
- Challenge requirements or designs that do not support secure, scalable, and maintainable enterprise delivery.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Three to seven or more years of professional experience with Microsoft Power Platform.
- At least one to two years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio or comparable conversational-AI or agent solutions.
- Proven delivery of production-grade enterprise solutions rather than prototypes alone.
- Very good knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power Fx.
- Experience integrating Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Microsoft Graph, and REST APIs.
- Understanding of Azure AI Services, generative AI, RAG approaches, and modern automation architectures.
- Experience with Power Platform governance, security, compliance, DLP, and application lifecycle management in an enterprise environment.
- Understanding of Entra ID, authorisation models, roles, audit requirements, and secure data handling.
- Able to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions.
- Strong analytical, consulting, stakeholder-management, and communication skills.
- User-focused approach with a strong understanding of adoption, process value, and usability.
- Strong ownership, learning mindset, and interest in emerging Microsoft AI and Power Platform capabilities.
- Fluent English is essential; CVs must be submitted in English.
- Available to attend the Solna office; the specific office days are flexible and agreed within the team.
