Overview
We are urgently seeking an experienced Mechanical Field Service Engineer to support the re-assembly of a steam turbine on site in Portugal.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the re-assembly of the steam turbine
- Supervise mechanical activities on site
- Ensure work is completed safely and in accordance with technical requirements
- Provide technical guidance to the site team
- Support mechanical inspections, checks and troubleshooting as required
- Liaise with site personnel and project stakeholders during the works
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong mechanical experience with steam turbines
- Experience with turbine re-assembly, overhaul or maintenance
- Previous experience as a Mechanical FSE, Supervisor or Turbine Specialist
- Strong hands-on mechanical and troubleshooting capability
- Previous site-based experience within power generation or heavy industry
- Experience with the Siemens SST-300 steam turbine highly desirable
