Job Title: Engineer Technical HSE
Working Location: Consultant Office, Qatar
Work Schedule: 40 Hours/week (Sunday to Thursday, Qatar Time)
Contract Type: Secondment Position
Contract Length: 12 Months x 2
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop hazardous area schedules as per EI 15
- Prepare HAC drawings, including plans and side views
- Interpret P&IDs and H&M balance with a solid understanding of hazards as per MSDS
- Familiarity with NFPA 497 and other HAC references
- Prepare firefighting and safety equipment layouts for offshore facilities
- Develop escape, evacuation, and safety signage layouts
- Apply expertise with Shell DEP v45, DEM1 V46, and Qatar Energy offshore standards
- Communicate requirements clearly to draftsman for layouts
- Take accountability for delivering on time and as per schedule to meet deadlines
- Exhibit proactive communication and reporting skills
Requirements:
- Degree in engineering
- 7-10 years' experience in technical safety
- Demonstrated experience in all listed responsibilities above
- Strong communication, reporting, and team collaboration skills
