- Apply fit-for-purpose and right-scoping principles to optimise well delivery and cost efficiency
- Support concept selection and optioneering activities across complex offshore developments
- Utilise modelling tools for casing design, hydraulics, torque & drag, and directional planning
Project Delivery & Execution
- Provide drilling engineering input throughout the full well lifecycle, including execution support
- Contribute to operational readiness, including well work instructions (WWI) and engineering support during operations
- Participate in incident response and troubleshooting as required
- Support regulatory submissions and approvals to ensure timely project delivery
Cost, Risk & Assurance
- Prepare AFE budgets and cost estimates using benchmarking and offset well analysis
- Identify and manage well-specific risks, including development of mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with internal standards, regulatory requirements, and well control practices
- Conduct QA/QC reviews, equipment assurance, and technical verification activities
Stakeholder & Interface Management
- Collaborate with subsurface, subsea, project, logistics, and integrity teams
- Interface with drilling contractors, service companies, and third-party vendors
- Contribute to technical assurance processes, decision gate reviews, and governance activities
- Support invoice verification and contract compliance from a technical perspective
Continuous Improvement
