Purpose of the Role
The Corporate Services & HR Projects Officer supports the coordination and continuous improvement of Corporate Services activities. This role acts as the focal point for Procurement services, coordinates the implementation of the Group HR system, and contributes to the development of policies, procedures, and business processes to improve operational efficiency and support company growth.
Approximately 60% of the role focuses on managing contracts and procurement/facilities management activities, while the remaining 40% provides generalist HR support, including recruitment, onboarding, and HR policy development.
Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Coordinate Corporate Services activities across the organisation, identifying gaps, dependencies, and opportunities to strengthen governance, improve collaboration, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Act as the focal point for Procurement services, coordinating business requirements, liaising with service providers, monitoring service delivery, facilitating issue resolution, and supporting continuous improvement of procurement processes.
- Support the implementation of the Group HR system by gathering business requirements, coordinating project activities, liaising with vendors and business functions, facilitating testing and change management activities, and supporting successful deployment of the solution.
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of corporate processes, policies, and procedures, ensuring consistency, compliance, and alignment with business objectives.
- Work closely with internal functions and external partners to ensure effective communication, alignment of priorities, and successful delivery of Corporate Services initiatives and strategic projects.
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications & Experience- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience in Corporate Services, PMO, Business Transformation, HR Projects, or similar cross-functional roles.
- Experience coordinating business projects is highly desirable.
- Experience in developing or improving policies, procedures, and business processes.
- Previous experience working in international or matrix organisations is considered an advantage.
- Familiarity with the Malaysia or Indonesia business environment is an added advantage.
- Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent organisational and planning capabilities.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work across multiple functions and influence stakeholders without formal authority.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, structured, and results-oriented approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
