Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of construction execution for transmission, distribution, and substation projects from mobilization through project closeout.
- Lead field operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with client specifications.
- Coordinate construction activities with Project Managers, Engineers, Superintendents, General Foremen, subcontractors, and utility representatives.
- Develop and monitor project schedules, manpower plans, equipment utilization, and material deliveries.
- Oversee subcontractor performance, productivity, and contract compliance.
- Support outage planning, switching coordination, energization activities, and project commissioning efforts.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, client safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct regular field inspections, progress reviews, and quality audits.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, RFIs, change orders, and construction work packages.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize schedule and cost impacts.
- Track project progress and provide updates regarding schedule, budget, labor productivity, and field performance.
- Participate in client meetings, project reviews, and executive reporting activities.
- Support project forecasting, change management, claims mitigation, and cost control initiatives.
- Mentor Assistant Construction Managers, Field Engineers, and other project personnel.
- Ensure proper turnover documentation, punch list completion, and project closeout activities.
