Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist Construction Managers with the planning, coordination, and execution of transmission, distribution, and substation construction projects.
- Support day-to-day field activities and help ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, inspectors, engineers, and utility representatives throughout project execution.
- Monitor project schedules and assist in tracking progress against milestones and deliverables.
- Participate in construction meetings, progress reviews, safety meetings, and project status updates.
- Assist with material tracking, equipment coordination, and logistics planning to support field operations.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and work packages to ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Support outage planning, switching coordination, and construction sequencing activities as required.
- Conduct field visits and site inspections to monitor work quality, safety compliance, and project progress.
- Assist with documentation including daily reports, RFIs, punch lists, change orders, and project closeout activities.
- Work closely with project teams to identify and resolve field issues, schedule impacts, and construction challenges.
- Ensure compliance with company, client, OSHA, and utility safety requirements.
- Support QA/QC processes and verify work is completed according to project standards and specifications.
