SUMMARY
A leading international engineering, consulting, and project delivery organisation is seeking an experienced Package Manager to support the successful delivery of a major industrial project in Sweden.
This is an opportunity to join a high-profile initiative during the engineering and procurement phases, working remotely while collaborating with global teams, suppliers, and key stakeholders. Subject to requirements, there may be an opportunity to transition into a site support role during the construction phase.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing the full lifecycle of complex equipment and construction packages, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely delivery in line with project objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the delivery of assigned packages from concept through engineering, procurement, manufacturing, delivery, and site support.
- Act as the primary focal point for all package-related activities, coordinating across engineering, procurement, construction, quality, and project controls functions.
- Manage package scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and performance to ensure successful execution.
- Coordinate technical interfaces between disciplines, suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Oversee the preparation and evaluation of technical requisitions, vendor documentation, supplier bids, and procurement recommendations.
- Monitor supplier and contractor performance, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, schedules, quality standards, and HSE expectations.
- Drive package progress through proactive planning, issue resolution, and risk mitigation.
- Facilitate package review meetings, progress reporting, and stakeholder communications.
- Ensure effective management of change control, technical queries, deviations, and non-conformances.
- Support forecasting, cost control, and reporting activities.
- Promote and champion a strong safety culture throughout all stages of package execution.
- Collaborate closely with management and construction teams to ensure seamless package handover and readiness for installation.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience working as a Package Manager, Package Engineer, or similar leadership role on large-scale industrial projects.
- Strong background delivering projects within EPC, EPCM, or major capital project environments.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex equipment, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, process, or construction packages.
- Strong understanding of engineering, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and package delivery processes.
- Experience managing supplier relationships, contractor performance, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven ability to manage package schedules, budgets, risks, interfaces, and technical challenges.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of contract execution principles.
- Familiarity with project management systems, reporting tools, and planning software.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Experience working on projects in Scandinavia or other international environments would also be beneficial.
