Senior Pipeline Integrity Engineer
Working Location: QatarContract Type: 12 month contract
Job Purpose
Accountable for the integrity of the operator's subsea and onshore pipeline network, ensuring safe and compliant operation throughout the asset lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the pipeline integrity management system and its annual review cycle.
- Plan and interpret in-line inspection campaigns, including MFL and UT runs.
- Carry out fitness-for-service assessments to ASME B31.8 and DNV-RP-F101.
- Lead corrosion management, including inhibitor selection and monitoring.
- Prepare integrity cases for regulatory submission.
- Provide regular reports to the engineering management team.
- Mentor graduate engineers within the integrity team.
Requirements
- MSc in Mechanical, Materials or Corrosion Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years in pipeline integrity within oil and gas.
- Chartered Engineer status with IMechE or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of NACE and ISO 15156 for sour service.
- Offshore survival certification (BOSIET), or willingness to obtain one.
The successful candidate will be based in Qatar, with periodic offshore visits of up to five days.
